Q: Is callback legal in my country?
A: Callback is a service approved and supported by the Federal Communications Commission and the US Department of State as a means to bring down the high cost of international communications.

The FCC has a mechanism whereby foreign phone companies can demonstrate that they have passed a law specifically banning callback and obtain help from the FCC in stopping callback operators in the US from providing service. To date, only the Philippines and Saudi Arabia have passed such laws and petitioned the FCC.

Some monopoly phone companies will claim that callback is illegal and threaten customers with termination of service. However, in most cases, this claim is not supported law or their government.

Q: How long does it take to activate a new customer's service?
A: Customers can expect service to begin within 24 hours once we have received the completed application, and your credit card has been approved.

Q: Can I use my PC modem to access the internet and my Email with callback service?
A: Yes. You may buy an autodialer to mask the callback process from your dialing program. See our callback page for information on autodialers.

Q: I want voice prompts in another language. Can you do this?
A: Yes, you may choose from English, Spanish, French, Chinese, German, and Japanese.

Q: Can CTW callback be used on a cellular phone?
A: Yes, Callback works on any line that can receive an incoming call.

Q: Can CTW callback be used on a fax machine?
A: Yes. Simply pick up the handset and call the trigger number and hang up. When it calls back, pick up the handset, dial the destination number and then press the Send button once you hear the fax tone.

Q: How many speed dial numbers can I program?
A: Up to 100 private numbers. Plus we have over 1000 public speed dial numbers available to all users.

BILLING

Q: What is the billing period for customers?
A: Customers are billed on a monthly basis starting on the first of each month and ending on the last day of that month.

Q: What credit cards do you accept?
A: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Diner's Club and JCB

Q: When are credit cards charged the monthly bill?
A: Credit cards are charged within the first week of each month for the previous month's usage.

Q: How do I wire you money?
A: You may wire funds to CTW's account in the US directly. Contact us for our bank routing information.

Q: How is cellular service billed?
A: Cellular users are billed the same rates as other customers. There are no additional charges for cellular customers.

Q: How do I sign up to be a representative?
A: Go to the Sales Agents Resellers page and fill out the on-line Agent Questionnaire form. After we receive that information, one of our International Sales Coordinators will contact you to give you more detailed information about our programs and services.
